Together with some mates, I gave up alcohol for one month on New Year’s Day this year. Nearly 5 months later and I’m still going strong. A challenge isn’t really a challenge unless you’re prepared to commit fully, is it? I still don’t know for how long I’ll stay away from it, but coffee has been my substitute drug of choice. Caffeine’s effect on me is normally instant (unlike the coffee) and fairly profound and the first 2 minutes of this video highlights this perfectly.
